DIY: Prologue
I'd say "Welcome" but the irony of technology is present in the globalization of virtual interconnectedness and isolation simultaneously; so it'll be as if I'm welcoming all the prospective readers but stealing myself of the human touch all at the same time. The medium that was invented to generate a whirlpool of ideas, knowledge, and relationships is turning that purpose over its head and is generating appropriation, ignorance, and disassociation from each other. It's funny, isn't it? Our ancestors lived with fantasies of the future and hopes for the posterity, and although all of those either are or in the midst of becoming a reality, we're using it as a source of our own destruction. I, myself, am unclear of the purpose of this blog. Is it to maintain my own sanity? Or is it my way of processing the insanity of the world? Is it to reassure myself of the promising impact that technology can have on us? Or is it simply to get rid of my boredom? I d...
